Books - Dr Renee Mehrra talks to Mahendra Sheth, MD & Mrs.Sheela Sheth on the book Journey Through Captivity
The book tells the true story of Dr. Mahindra Sheth who was working as a pediatrician with SCF in Ethiopia when he and others were kidnapped and held hostage for 49 days in 1983. His wife, Sheela Sheth, wrote the book about their experience.
Mahendra and Sheela - congratulations on this great interview and of course even more for the book that tells the story. Mahendra - your bravery in returning to Ethiopia after this experience to carry forward your work is a story all of its own. Congratulations and thanks for all you did there and in the years since.
