It was so sad to learn about Andrea's passing. I sent a personal email to Jeannie and posted a brief note on our xunicef portal. 

Many students came. Colleagues and friends from Siena, Maastricht, Budapest, Roma - unexpected places. I only took a picture of the tomb. Andrea’s tomb is the one with flowers. Jeannie Liu

Updated by Josephine Rajasegera The funeral for Andrea Cornia will take place at Misericordia di Fiesole, Via Marini 7, Florence at 1030 a.m on Friday 12 July.

Even when he realized that his health was not good, he did not stop thinking about new study projects, because he knew that his mind was his life.
