Our wonderful CAFICS gathering on 3 September at the dear Sharif’s lovely home with ex-colleagues and friends from various UN agencies/countries & backgrounds.

What a privilege & good fortune, interesting conversations & sumptuous international food. So grateful to dear Mahboob & Shaheen as wonderful XUNICEFer hosts and all dear attendees - each adding a magical element to our gathering. 

 Canadian Association of Former International Civil Servants - Toronto Branch. Afghan, Iranian, Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani, Mexican, Argentinian, German, Kosovo…and now also Canadian in some cases. UNDP, UNICEF, IAEA, WFP, UNFPA, ESCAP, UNHCR, WHO, ITU…former staff.
