I finish playing till the 4th hole. And then it’s time for me to take a brief respite.
I slump down upon a bench and wait for my turn. The morning sun’s slanting rays, the green manicured grass under my feet, the hundreds of trees all around and the birds flying above – what more can I ask for? This has become my favorite bench. Wait, there’s another one at the 8th hole and this one is under a huge “sheesham” or Indian Rosewood tree. Another of my favorite benches. Five minutes is all I get to take a breather. But this is enough to get going again…
