New names and new acronyms for divisions and offices: Florence as Office of "Strategy and Evidence - Innocenti"; Programe Group becomes "Global Programme Division"
Editor's Note: We did not receive the attachment to this memo sent to Innocenti approving a new name for the combined office in Florence and mentioning a new name for the Programme Group. With various new offices being established and combined offices being formed at former regional offices, the map and titles will become increasingly hard to follow - the acronyms will become even more challenging to figure out.

Pleased to inform that the Executive Director has approved the requested office name change as per attached DM, effective 1 January 2026.
New name for the consolidated DAPM and GORAF office to Office of Strategy and Evidence – Innocenti;
Name change from Programme Group to Global Programme Division.

The former office of BIFKL and the Division of TIWLE will be combined into the STRACPM Group. We trust this will significantly increase efficiency and multiply impact. Have a nice day.

ReplyDeleteThis was not due to a coup,
Simply somebody's morning hoop,
Who needed to create a scoop,
Or simply rise above the stoop.
But it energized the whole troupe
To shout in unison, Whoop-di- Doop !
We found the break in the loop,
And created a new alphabet soup.
What’s in a name
