On World Children’s Day - a very special day we have always celebrated in UNICEF - the Organization I worked for from 1984 to 2016 fulltime & some years as a Consultant - over 3 decades.
Sadly, while in many areas and aspects the life of millions of children has improved, millions continue to experience genocide, conflicts, displacement, abuse, exploitation and more.
Leaders need to be held accountable for their actions & inactions. Social movements for peace, human rights & freedom, for children & adults, are needed more than ever.
