Missing You - Dr. Kamla Rana and Mr. T.R. Appul : Sad news from S. Ramadass, Secrtary UPGI

It is with deep sadness that we inform the demise of our dear colleague as per details given below.

1. Dr Kamla Rana who worked in the then Mid North India office (MNIO)  passed away on 18 Janaury 2024 in Delhi. Dr Kamla Rana was 92 years at the time of her death. Retirees who wish to send condolences may directly send to/contact her daughter Ms. Shobhana Rana , mobile no

2/ Mr. T.R. Appu expired on 5.4.2024 after a brief illness .

Mr. T.R. Appu joined UNICEF 24 Nov 1972 to 31 December 2005 . He was working at the then MNIO , and when MNIO was closed and merged with Regional office, he was reassigned to Regional office . As most of his colleagues commented that he is very soft spoken and always has smiling face. and always assisted staff members who were travelling in his vehicle. I was his supervisor for more than 15 years and I found him very courteous to everyone. He was 79 at the time of his death.
