Palestine / Israel - Interview with UN Special Rapporteur on OPT, Fancesca Albanese, on Israel's Denial of Visas for UN staff

YouTube video shared by Niloufar Pourzand

Israel will not renew the visa of a United Nations staff member in the country and will also deny the visa request of another UN employee as the country yet again expresses its displeasure of the global body, which has criticised Israel’s targeting of civilians and hospitals during the Gaza war. An overwhelming majority of the more than 20,000 Palestinians killed are civilians. Francesca Albanese is the UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territory. She joins us from Milan.

  1. BRAVA !Well said Ms. Albanese..you have crossed the t's and dotted the i's as clearly as anyone we have heard or read during this human catastrophe that is Occupied Palestine these days. While others keep blaming the UN, you have identified how and why there is no movement in the "international community" to take appropriate actions to sanction the
perpetrators of genocide in the past couple of months. Thank you for your candor.
