Dear Friends,

A few minutes ago, my brave and patriotic son, Siamak, called me and read the following note for me to share with you. I join my family in thanking all of you once again.

Dear UNICEF family

My brother Babak recently read parts of your letter to POTUS for me. I cannot begin to tell you how touched and grateful I am. Being forgotten about is constant fear for any prisoner in my situation. Your moving effort truly warmed my spirit.

    Dear Baquer,

    So glad, our collective efforts on his behalf have brought some comfort to Siamak in the midst of his unbearable and unfair agony at Evin.

    Our solidarity and support will remain undiminished, and will hopefully bring a positive outcome soon.
