Isabel Belardo-Cerni recently published her memoirs of an international life, "Donkey Years Ago".

Readers will recall that Isabel's husband, Horst Cerni published his life story, "Journeying to Paradise", in English and German in 2019 (German edition - "Auf Suche nach einer neuen Heimat").

Congratulations, Isabel, and thanks for highlighting the ´other side' of the UNICEF story - the life of spouses and children in UNICEF families. So often the life of a UNICEF spouse is ignored or forgotten. Yet the contribution of a partner or spouse to the success of a UNICEF mission often equals or exceeds that of the staff member.
