It was a delightful week with the full family in South Devon soon after we emerged from our quarantine on arrival here in the UK for a summer vacation. In fact we left the day after completing the mandatory ten day quarantine and it coincided with the G7 meeting in Cornwall. Of course we were miles away in our snug five bedroom cottage with three grandchildren and their parents along with Madhu and I. The choice was of our younger daughter who reminded us that we haven’t really had a vacation together with the entire family for quite sometime. Choice of places to visit was wide, from a farm visit to a morning on the beach along with a delightful day at the River Dart Country Park on the fringes of Dartmoor National Forest.
The pictures try to capture the beauty of the landscape along with the splash of colours the season brings to the countryside. My daughter reassured me that it would be no less than what I left behind in Dilijan and she was not wrong.
