Our Artist of the Week - Cecilia Lotse

As I continue my exploration of artistic expression, I find myself almost exclusively drawn to landscapes or cityscapes that evoke in me a sense of peace, expansion or awe of the beauty and force of nature.

To somehow capture this emotional impact is the artistic challenge; a new conundrum each time! So far, virtually all my paintings have as reference my own photographs.
