Dear All,
I am really saddened to inform you the sad demise of Mr. Gurpal Singh , retiree
on 29 April 2021 at 1200 in the midnight. He tested covid positive and was admitted
in a hospital a couple of days back.
Mr. Gurpal Singh joined UNICEF sometime in 1979/1980 . He was very well known
as he worked in Communication Section till his retirement. A very pious, helpful and always positive approached person. He is survived by his wife Mrs Charanjit Singh

Very Sad to inform you that spouse of Mr. B.K. Mallik , Mrs. Chanchal Mallik
expired on 22 April 2021 due to COVID 19. She was 76 years .

ReplyDeleteAnother colleague passes due to covid. Gurpal was friendly and would always go out of his way to help his colleagues - I interacted with him as Chair of the committee ,reconciling GS levels in1991(?) and benefitted from his frank feedback working from the basement almost six hours a day.
We pray that God give strength toMrs Charanjit and the family at this time

Deeply saddened to hear about Mr. Gurpal Singh passing away and so also of Mrs.Chanchal Mallik. Heartfelt condolences to their family members. May God give them the strength to bear this pain and loss.
