Songs for Peace: Mercedes Sosa - Solo le Pido a Dios / Agop Kayayan

Armed conflicts hurt most poor women and children: Wars have hurt more civilians than combatants. From the Napoleonic wars to the armed conflicts today, each time a higher percentage of the victims have been civilians. To make things worse, poor civilian women and children.

You will surely enjoy the song.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to feature  songs in favor of peace in many different languages and scripts? 

Here is the challenge: find and submit to the editors a song for peace in your language. They require a link to a video and the lyrics.

Perhaps we will have one song for each update.

It touched the depths of my heart ❤️ and soul and brought back vivid memories of my days living in conflict periods in Argentina, ���� Chile and elsewhere. UNICEF is internationally recognized as a messenger of peace in any language and �� songs of peace are an important vehicle. Jim Mohan
