Dear Friends, this week I made a very moving visit to the museum/childhood home of Che Guevara in Alta Gracia, Argentina. Brought back memories of my work with UNICEF in Cuba and meetings with Fidel.
Che was born in Rosario, Argentina and his family moved to the mountainous community of Alta Gracia for medical treatment for his asthma. Although he died more than 50 years ago, this house is still visited by many people from Argentina and around the world who are attracted by this inspiring yet also controversial personality in the history of Latin America......
