Dear All

Here's the much awaited brochures with the final itinerary and costs for the 2019 exUNICEFers Reunion here in Armenia with an add-on in Georgia. There has been a slight increase in cost owing to a better choice of hotel in Yerevan (Radisson Blu) to get the best deal. It has taken some intense negotiation over the past weeks and since my return to Armenia and I think we have it all to satisfaction now.

In Dilijan, we have settled for Dilijan Resort and Spa, which is in close proximity to United World College, where Madhu (my wife) and I are presently based. The resort, besides standard double and single rooms, also has a choice of self-contained and detached cottages. In case some of you are travelling with your families and/or with close friends and do wish to avail the facility, please let me know. We have not however put this choice down in the brochure for the present.

We have done the brochures and costs respectively for the main Reunion in Armenia and with the Georgia add-on. We have also kept provision for the Georgia add-on to bring back those who wish to return to Yerevan for their final departure. Any additional night in Yerevan of course will be at your own cost. Tbilisi has good connectivity by air and some of you who will be doing the Georgia add-on might wish to fly out from Georgia instead of returning to Yerevan.

We will shortly be putting up a web-based spreadsheet for you to register your interests along with details of accommodation (double/single) you wish to seek. There will be an escalation in costs as usual for single occupancy as indicated in the attachments.

We wish to keep the registration open through February but may have to close early if the response is too overwhelming.

At some stage after registration of interest, Hyur Travels will be writing directly to you for advance payments. I shall keep you informed of the focal point in Hyur, who will be dealing with the group regarding logistics and arrangements. In addition to Hyur Travels (who are based in Yerevan and who are the principal tour operator for the Reunion based on our selection through competitive bidding) our local travel agent, Dilijan Travels, will continue to play a liaising role. I shall also share with you details of our local contact here at Dilijan Travels.

I shall continue to be in touch. There are quite a few of you who have volunteered to help. Please do feel free to assist when and where required. Your advice and suggestions will continue to be valued.

I am also arranging for a courtesy call to the UNICEF Rep in Yerevan shortly, now that we the final itinerary in place. I have already sounded the UNICEF office in Yerevan in this regard.

Warm wishes to all!
Gautam
