Dear Sree,
Thank you so much for volunteering to handle the correspondence on the next and future Reunions. I hope I have everyone's agreement to accept her coordinating role.
In that event, please send any comments you have directly to Sree, who will liaise with the various persons offering country venues.. From our experience with the Bangalore Reunion in 2018, which Sree and Padmini organized so effectively, we can be sure this latest round of consultations will be carried efficiently and with caring concern for all XUNICEFERs views about our next gathering.
Mary.

Dear XUNICEFers,
The Committee to write up and send out the minutes of the XUNICEF meeting in Dilimjan, Armenia on the draft MOU with UNICEF as well as offers for the site of next year's reunion is currently being written by a committee of volunteers, Sree Gururaja, Doreen Lobo and myself. We hope to get the full account to you in October for review before sending the final version incorporating your comments on to UNICEF New York through Nicolas Pron.
In the meantime, let me update you at least on the offers of possible sites for the next reunion.
FOR 2020 or early 2021
Toronto, Canada.- 2020 - Niloufar Persaund and Ramesh Shrestha exploring
Philippines - Jan-Feb 2021 -Mary Racelis exploring
FOR MID or LATER 2021 or 2022
Northern India - Geetha Athreya exploring
Malta - Margherita Amadeo exploring
Upon my return to Manila, I consulted with retirees here. Reggie Molera, who is also the Vice-President of the AFICS-Philippines all-UN group, responded with great enthusiasm when I mentioned the prospect of the reunion's being held in the Philippines. She agreed that the cooler non-typhoon months of later January and early February 2021 would be best.
Note that our network usually tries to locate reunions in different regions of the world. Several have pointed out that it's North America's turn again this time around. If that happens, the Philippines reunion can be among the candidates for 2022.
Since I am focusing on the MOU, may I suggest that someone with Reunion experience volunteer to serve as the coordinator of that discussion, copying the Canada, Northern India, Malta and Philippines prospective organizers?
Wherever the next reunion is held, let's advocate attendance also from those who have not yet had the pleasure of renewing retiree ties while benefiting from the impressive sights and sounds of local settings.
