From Your Editors

Back to 'Normal' - Perhaps we should call this week's edition a 'tri-weekly' as it covers three weeks, rather than the usual one week. The long interruption, of course, was due to the time we needed to put together the March Quarterly. Now that we have finished with that mega-issue, we will now return to our usual weekly pattern - at least, until it is time to assemble the Quarterly for June.

The March Quarterly
- We hope that everyone received and enjoyed (or are still enjoying) the latest Quarterly. If you missed it, or need another copy, you can find it by clicking here.  Be sure to send us your comments and recommendations for improving future editions.

Still celebrating !!  - Your volunteer editors are still celebrating the third anniversary of the Quarterly. It has been quite a journey from March 2018 to March 2021. In celebration of the event (and to unwind from the stress of churning out the latest edition, Sree Gururaja has set off an exchange of 'Witty Ditties'. We hope you will join in the fun. Click here.

Speaking of June - Please start thinking about what you might contribute to our June Quarterly which will look at UNICEF's history from 1972 to 1996. This was a period in which many of our members joined UNICEF, so there should be many good stories to share.  Please also give us your thoughts on how the Quarterlies could be improved.

Errata: We somehow mixed up drafts of Shahida Azfar's article in the Quarterly, 'My Mentor, Role Model and Guide in UNICEF'.  So we are presenting Shahida's article again with our apologies. Click here.

UNICEF@75

In this week's 'A Little History' Tom McDermott presents 'The Doctor from Neuchâtel' - the first of two-part article.  Click here.

Our review of UNICEF's 75 great years continues. The June 2021 Quarterly will look at the period 1972 through 1996. Please plan to contribute articles, photos and your memories of the period.
