(Actually, I have been reading it - on and off - for three years, but not recently. It is very difficult, since my eyesight is failing and I have to use an enlargement glass)
If you could travel without restrictions, where would you go?
There are many places I would like to go back to, but also several that our colleagues have described and which sound intriguing, Off hand, I would say Easter Island, Hawaii and New York, of course.
Your best experience with UNICEF?
Each posting was good, but Santiago was special, and we were able to travel the country and make many friends,
Your biggest challenge when working for UNICEF?
Not being able to develop the advocacy program and fund raising potential with Goodwill Ambassadors further. Also, I had hoped that UNICEF would follow up on the Olympic Truce arrangement with the International Olympic Committee.
What is your biggest fear, in relation to the future of children? What is your greatest hope, in relation to children?
Fear: Statistics show that children are not recognized as our future and suffer the most in conflicts.

What is one piece of advice you would wish to give to the UNICEF Executive Director? Emphasize with national leaders the agreements they have signed to respect children's rights and to give their services priorities.
