Morocco - Richard Bridle

We live in such terrible and terrifying times with all that is happening around the world, whether it be brutal wars or trade wars or the defunding of essential services and development cooperation, and other assaults on human rights. For some of us, there is also winter. Here then, just to lighten the mood a little, is a collection of photographs from a recent trip to Morocco, a delightful country, where one can indulge a little welcome escapism.

  1. Beautiful Morocco, Richard! When is an XUNICEF retiree there going to offer it as a future reunion site? We just did it in the Philippines and enjoyed meeting colleagues from around the world while proudly showing them our country. Wouldn't it be Morocco's turn soon to display its great history and the joys of today! Mary

  12. Lovely article on one of the most visited Arab countries. It has so much diversity and there is no reason why a XUNICEF Reunion cannot be held there. The photos are attractive and well taken, but why did you end in Marakesh with a couple of camels? It has much more to offer the visiting tourist ! Cheers.
