Pope Francis truly was a shepherd to everyone, and this is a wonderful example of him caring for the people of Gaza.
A real nightmare, especially for those who depended on humanitarian assistance, and for the foreign students who have to leave their studies and try to continue somewhere else - like Russia or China?
Thanks, Sree. I hadn't seen this poem.. The writer expressed our sentiment well.
The Global Coalition for Social Justice launched last year by the ILO now appears to be dead in the water, because social justice is viewed as 'woke' by the US.
Excellent speaker and devoted politician.. Thanks, Sree, for sharing this inspiring speech.

Japan is in our bucket list Jun. So nice to see both Shahida ji and you Madame Kukita. Got reminded of our good old Dhaka days. Stay blessed.
What a sad and misguided proposal. Would Musk hope to get those funds for his Mars mission?
That's appropriate technology at its best - easy, healthy and tasty.

Having been to Morocco many years ago, I was recently thinking that it was time to go again. Thanks for reminding me of this interesting and picturesque country! Nice photos!
Having spent a year at WHO HQ in 1996/97 helping Dr. Fabrizio Bassani set up a new Emergency & Humanitarian Division ,I am sorry to learn of the coming cutbacks in their structures and programmes and hope that this one will be spared as the world is witnessing an increase in civil and inter-country conflicts, as well as the many natural disasters due to climate change. COVID showed us that a robust WHO response is definitely needed in similar situations and such actions are better organized from a central location.
ARIGATO. Great to see Shahida enjoying her retirement...she certainly moves around in wide circles.
