Many students came. Colleagues and friends from Siena, Maastricht, Budapest, Roma - unexpected places. I only took a picture of the tomb. Andrea’s tomb is the one with flowers.

It is so sad to learn about the passing of Andrea. We were neighbours and friends on Roosevelt Island in New York and enjoyed many an animated discussion walking to and from work. For a brief period, Andrea and I, with Jim Himes and Josephine Rajasegera were together in the Planning Office. It was the heady period of Adjustment With A Human Face and GOBI-FFF just before UCI 1990. He was and is an unforgettable colleague. May he rest in peace.
