Dear Members,
We are pleased to send you this first quarter 2020 edition of the XUNICEF News & Views Newsletter. This quarter's edition focuses on the Travels and the Travelers of XUNICEF. We are deeply grateful to the members who contributed articles for this edition. If you enjoy reading their stories or viewing their photos, please let them (and us) know.
We fully understand that with a pandemic underway and travel nearly impossible, the theme of travel may seem a cruel joke or at best deeply ironic. Obviously, we planned this edition back in January long before the pandemic spread.
Despite the difficult times in which we suddenly find ourselves, we CAN STILL TRAVEL:
- through the words and photos of the authors who shared their travel adventures for this edition.
- through our own memories, notes and photos.
- through books and films.
- through daydreams and plans for future travels.
We hope you will share stories and photos of you own travels - past and future, real and imaginary.
