A call to action for our UN - from the Foundation for Global Governance and Sustainability - shared by Fouad Kronfol
With the UNGA high-level week about to kick off, and in the spirit of the International Day of Peace, 21 September, we felt that it is an opportune moment to urge UN Member States to "act together to restore confidence in the United Nations as the indispensable instrument for peace, cooperation, human rights, and protection of the global commons".
Please use this e-signature form to indicate your agreement to the attached letter by midday New York time on Wednesday, 23 September 2026. The letter will thereafter be sent, with the signatory names and former UN-related capacities attached, to all Permanent Missions to the UN in New York, as well as to select organisations, like associations of former heads of state and government, which can amplify its message.
