Dear ASHI participant,
We hope that you and your family are well.
As you may be aware, AFICS/NY Annual Assembly will take place on 29 May from 3.00-6.00 PM in Conference Room 1. This event will feature presentations by the Secretary-General’s Representative, senior officials and specialists covering topics such as pension issues, health insurance and AFICS/NY activities.
Due to the number of speakers during the Assembly, there is limited time to address all the key health insurance concerns of interest to retirees. Therefore, the AFICS/NY Health Insurance Committee, in collaboration with the UN Health and Life Insurance Section (HLIS), warmly invites you to participate in an online information session on Thursday, 21 May from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
This session will cover:an overview of 4 UNHQ-administered health insurance plans (Aetna PPO, Anthem PPO, Cigna Dental PPO, and the UN Worldwide Plan)
key information on the After-Service Health Insurance (ASHI) programme
important updates in preparation for the insurance year beginning in July 2026
The session will also address other important topics, including Medicare Part B.
