Died 27th December, 2025, Richmond VA
UNICEF, Dhaka, WatSan staff member from January 1973 until August 1974, only.
Was seen to haunt the corridors of UNICEF, Dhaka, and New Delhi, between the years of 1981 to around 2000 + as part of a highly effective inter-agency cooperation.
Though not a UNICEF staff member at the time, he played a lead role in the creation of the Tara handpump which, by 2007-2009 resulted in an estimated 4 million units in private hands in Bangladesh alone, thereby benefitting women and children. . . . . .
