The outbreak has been ongoing for over a year, with Ontario's cases beginning to slow after an extended period of transmission.
The latest figures show that while cases are indeed found all over the country , more than three fifth of them are in two provinces…Ontario and Alberta. Nevertheless it is worrisome that Canada’s vaunted national health service has somehow allowed such an increase in measles cases especially among young children many of whom have not been vaccinated.
