With many of us across the globe who are experiencing high heat temperatures, take a break and cool off.......in the snowy Alps! Near Chamonix, France where Mont Blanc stands tall and majestic at 15,700+ feet (4800+ m.), it’s the highest mountain in the Alps.
A hiking trip a few years ago covered three countries bordering the Alps – Italy, Switzerland, and France. It was mid-September, and, lucky to have clear skies in Chamonix and the surrounding Alps, the photo opportunities around Mont Blanc and beyond were endless. Here, some of those panoramas!
