New Book - Strategic Plan: What, Why and How? by Krishna KC

Hello everyone: warm greetings!

I’m Krishna KC, and I’m truly excited to introduce my latest book: Strategic Plan: What, Why, and How?

After more than 40 years working across five continents with organizations like Save the Children, UNESCO, and UNICEF, I’ve seen a common challenge: many NGOs and INGOs are doing amazing work—but without a clear, practical strategic plan, their impact can fade or get lost.

That’s why I wrote this book. It’s a simple, experience-based guide for anyone—whether you’re just starting out or leading a global initiative—who wants to bring clarity, focus, and direction to their mission.

This book answers of three essential questions:
a. What is a strategic plan?
b. Why is it so critical for lasting impact?
c. And most importantly—how do you create a Strategic Plan that works in real life, with real people, in real communities?

You’ll find stories and lessons from my work in various countries in South Asia, South East Asia, Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America and beyond—practical tools that have helped teams develop meaningful, inclusive strategies.

If you—and your organization—are committed to creating real change, this book is for you.
It will help you stay focused, navigate uncertainty, and transform your vision into meaningful action.
Together, let’s build movements that are stronger, smarter, turning vision into action, and more sustainable.

Let’s make an impact, not just an intention.
