Today, The Washington Post, to their credit, reported on the Google founder Sergei Brin's internal reaction to the report Albanese report that alleged technology firms including Google and its parent company Alphabet had profited from “the genocide carried out by Israel” in Gaza.

I'm old enough to remember the Sullivan Report on South Africa, Apartheid, and American corporations complicity with and profiting from apartheid. Rev Sullivan was a poor South Philadelphia baptist preacher who put together a simple notion, large US companies profited from South African apartheid. The first reaction was outrage from the corporate elites, then their legal departments looked at what Sullivan was saying, and then they talked to their corporate bosses. Slowly things started changing.
