Missing You - Sad news about Richard Reid, RIP : Bilge Bassani

Richard Ried passed away at 2 am this morning in San Diego, CA. Our daughter, Serra Reid, was with him and has been taking care of him for the last two months, since he moved away from Istanbul to San Diego, after his second wife Fatma passed away at the end of October.
His work with UNICEF and his colleagues meant a lot to him. He had a wonderful life of service to children and humanity. So it was a life well lived.
May his soul rest in peace.

I don't know how to inform his UNICEF colleagues and friends, thus I would be most grateful , if you could pass this message to the right channels .

Hope all is well with you and family. I am in Lucca, Italy for the summer.

Best regards, Bilge
