Furthermore, the UK welcomes the UNRWA Commissioner General's call for an independent investigation into any instances of UN premises being misused by Palestinian militants. The UK also emphasizes the obligation of an occupying power to accept aid from capable organizations when it cannot adequately meet the needs of the population, if no other sufficient assistance is available, and when the humanitarian need is severe and urgent.
