Missing You, Warren Feek, RIP - Sad news from Robert Cohen



Warren Feek was a good friend and longtime colleague. He contributed so much to the field of C4D, SBC. He was a good troublemaker.

Gone too soon.

Warren Feek was Executive Director of The Communication Initiative Network and Partnership.

Prior to conceiving and guiding The Communication Initiative, Warren led at UNICEF HQ in New York developing and implementing Health and HIV/AIDS communication strategies He was recruited to UNICEF based on his work at The Commonwealth Secretariat at a time that organisation was focused on ending apartheid in South Africa and the transition to a democratic government.

A New Zealander -Warren was born in 1953.  He had a BA (Hons) in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Victoria in New Zealand.

He lived and worked in Victoria BC, Canada with his partner and 3 children.

  3. How very sad for Warren and his family and friends. He died too suddenly and too soon. The fragility and unpredictability of life!

  4. Shocked and saddened to hear this news. My heart goes out to Warren’s family and loved ones.
    May God give them the strength to cope with this unbearable loss.

  5. Warren - along with Mark Connolly - spearheaded UNICEF's work on adolescents and young people along with HIV and put 'programme communication'/C4D/SBC on the map! A passionate All Blacks supporter and a great person. RIP Warren.
