Those better ways of measuring development - will they be used at the Summit of the Future? : Robert Cohen

I have fond (but fading) memories of JPG, Richard Jolly, Kul Gautam, Peter Adamson and Jan Vandemoortele working with Innocenti and Human Development Report colleagues to develop better ways of measuring development and targeting international aid. Let's hope that innovative and robust measurements are debated and adopted at the upcoming Summit of the Future -- although I'm frankly not holding my breath.
