I understand the need for a politically impartial international civil service, but calling out war crimes and plausible acts of genocide, in the context of international law, seems appropriate and essential to me.
Martin Grffiths and the SG himself have raised their voices forcefully, eliciting Israel's fury. Staffers should follow their example, with history on their side.
