Emithal Mahmoud is one of UNHCR's Goodwill Ambassadors. In this powerful poem she tells of the war in her homeland and what it is doing to Sudan's people. She presented the poem 10 days ago in a 'slam poetry' event organized by UNHCR.

Powerful and heart rending! Wish there are answers to her questions on who is responsible for the repeated conflicts in her country.
