I would very much like to get together with those who worked in situations of armed conflict and mediated actions for the safety of children. Anyone? Agop Kayayan

You may know that LINK TV shows an interesting Canadian program “Island Diaries” which has included territories mentioned in the books I had reviewed, I.e. Montserrat, Palau and the Falkland Islands, where tourists are now coming on cruises and can stay for a week in a private home, since there isn’t enough hotel space. There is still war damage and military junk all over, but most people simply want to get close to the penguins. Anyhow, it’s interesting to get a visual update. Here it airs on Tuesday evenings. Regards, Horst.

To give credit where credit is due, I found this to be an excellent report prepared by UNICEF's Office of Global Insights and Policy, a UNICEF's Internal think tank, in consultation with UNICEF field offices and interviews with a cross-section of youth around the world. It contains the best, succinct review of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children; the threat of the growing inequality in the world; the weakening of support for multilateralism; the impact of climate change on children; and the need to reshape Internet governance. Very useful analysis with some recommendations for policy makers & practitioners. Well done UNICEF! Kul

I have hard time to understand what this is about. Who is talking to whom? The author is not clear and you can’t even google this report. It doesn’t look to me like a report of the SG. All recommendations are commonplace and would be the regular responsibility of respective departments and divisions in UN agencies.
