Webinar: Kinder in Krisen (Children in crises) Wednesday 8 June 2022, 18.00 CEST in German

Persistent civil conflict and war have resulted in 103 million displaced persons, asylum seekers and refugees. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine exacerbates this global emergency situation. In some regions, children make uo more than half of the people fleeing. In addition, as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic, 5 million children have been orphaned or lost their primary caregiver.

What can and does the UN system do to address these crises? Discussion with UNICEF-Representative Elke Wisch (by link from Nepal), Gabriele Köhler, member of UNICEF-NatCom Germany and
Ursula Auginski , UNICEF Munich, Moderated by André Bluhm, UNAssociation Bavaria.
