Struggling with the Digital COE - DCE? : Paula Claycomb

Dear Editors,


I am curious to know if any other UNICEF retirees are having as much difficulty as I am with the digital Certificate of Entitlement app. I went through the interview and the interviewer sent me a new link, which has a gray box instead of a blue one for updating and validating the DCE.


Despite several e-mail exchanges and no answer on the NY (212) phone number, I am still unable to operationalize the app.


Wondering if you could ask the question of other retirees? Also whether it might just be best to do business online and forget about the phone app?

  1. I read the instructions and found it too complicated. For now I decided to stay with traditional paper with signature (for as long as it is allowed).

  2. I had three unsuccessful attempts so far, and will have another verification session on Monday. I just hope I am not encountering the same problems as you, Paula.
