The very presence of these "unforeseen" constraints is the raison d'etre of our existence. It is the reason we are in business and in those particular developing countries. So they are not truly unforeseen.

The complexion obsessed Indians have for decades allowed reputed cosmetic companies brand a 'bleaching /whitening face creams.. While "Fair and Lovely "was the most popular brand for women and its equivalent was for men, "Fair and Handsome"! Celebrity film stars made their bucks promoting these brands . Some noises were made on banning commercials/advertising on public media after activists pointed out the dangers of the bleaching ingredients and its overtones that dark skin is not beautiful. Finally, there seems to be a move to change the name of the product as promoting healthier skin, but that does not mean the ingredients will change. As a foot note Johnson & Johnson have discontinued their 'fairness' cream. Sree, Bangalore India.

Brilliant, Fouad. What a wonderful collection. My daughter did one year of her Masters in Marine Biology in Orkney; I must ask her if she ever visited Eynhallow.
