Those who ever served in or visited Headquarters any time BC (Before Covid), wistfully remember the excitement of riding the subways. UNICEF is now providing a taste of quintessential Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn to its offices in Banjul, Thimphu, Juba, Chișinău, Male, and Tegucigalpa.
Most importantly, which track takes us to the light at the end of the tunnel?
Everyone favours a modern, uncluttered, contemporary look of our Programme Policy and Procedure (PPP). The online PPP manual is as easy to decipher as the train schedule of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Cool.
But where would I want to go? And why? How do I avoid getting stuck in those cul-de-sacs? Which train is going downtown, and which takes me up? Is there an express train, omitting the desolate local stops? Most importantly, which track takes us to the light at the end of the tunnel?
Brilliant! In your next edition you may want to extend a new subway lines to One UN and UNDAF stations!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Brilliant ! we need a new subway lines for post covid responses !
ReplyDeleteYour analogy to the humdrum NYC subway lines is indeed remarkable. Hopefully the UNICEF map will finally get all to the critical destination sooner than later!
ReplyDeleteWonderful comparison, but I couldn't read the stations.
