It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that I need to inform our group of the passing of one of our own, Satish Khorana.

A few years ago he had a stroke and has been in poor health since. He most recently developed respiratory distress as a result of complications from his condition and went into multiple organ failure. He passed away yesterday, August 13th at 5:10pm.

Satish was a great person, a wonderful family man and a good friend, and shall be missed. He leaves behind his dear wife of a lifetime, Shashi and two daughters, Aditi, and Smitha.

I will never forget the last time we got together socially with them. It was during our 2015 XUNICEF reunion in Budapest. Great memories of his laughter and wonderful sense of humor. My wife and I were hoping to get together again with them on our next XUNICEF outing. This is very sad!

There will be a memorial via Zoom, which I will inform you when I get the details.

My deepest condolences to his loving family.
