Thank you for your inquiry, through UNICEF Representative, on the safety of UNICEF retirees in Sri Lanka.


Mercifully none of the retirees have been directly affected by the Easter Sunday bombings. But we are all shaken. The entire country.


Understand you heard that Nimal Hettiarachy's sister-in-law and her daughter were sadly caught in one of the hotel blasts.
