Announcing the 2025 XUNICEF Reunion in the Philippines - Monday February 3 to Sunday February 9, 2025

Dear XUNICEF friends,

Yes! It's going to happen! The 2025 XUNICEF is now scheduled for Monday, February 3, 2025 to Sunday, February 9, 2025.
The Philippines X-Reunion team, headed by Ces Adorna, met last Saturday to begin the preparations. Here is some preliminary information.

Manila - February 3 and 4
Welcome cocktails and dinner - Monday, afternoon and evening - Feb 3
Intramuros, the centuries-old Walled City.encompassing Fort Santiago, was built by the Spanish colonizers. It houses the cell where National Hero Jose Rizal spent his last days before his execution in nearby Luneta Park in 1896.
National Museum of the Philippines, Manila, and/or Ayala Museum, Makati City
Boat trip to Corregidor island, Manila Bay, where Filipino-American forces held off against the Japanese Army until the surrender of General J. Wainwright in 1942, preceded by the withdrawal of General Douglas MacArthur to Australia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corregidor

Provincial Area outside Manila - by air - February 5-8 - still under discussion

Return to Manila (hotel near airport) - Feb 8 - Final dinner and dance
