Editors in XUNICEF are strategic partners, assuring the best use of talents and assets of former staff, in alignment with sound journalistic management practices, goals and priorites to deliver "news and views" about children, development, humanitarian aid and a lot of other stuff.

Our general environment has evolved rapidly over the past 8 years, becoming more dynamic, complex and occasionally funny. With the growing geographical and operational scope of readers and contributors from around the world, we have attained more than 1200 members living in over 100 countries (some of which we have never even heard of!)

To achieve our Strategic Plan, its targets and its coverage and meet the rising expectations from our members, we are looking for qualified.and diverse talent to join in our mission of strengthening the "TIES THAT BOND US". Category Type: Anyone with connection to XUNICEF and its global mandate (no age limit)

Workload: A weekly Friday meeting (not more than one hour long) by Zoom with other Editors. Being Editor of the Week on a rotational basis.

Position Level: E5-E6 (these are theoretical levels of responsibility which we have never managed to clarify).

Entitlements: None that we can provide for the moment other than being in contact with other XUNICEF members.

Salary: the grade level  you reached when you left UNICEF, with adjustments as to your current lieu of residence and cost of living .

Duty Station: In your current working environment, be it the den, living room or bedroom...your choice in any event.

References: we refer to each other as friends and colleagues.
