No comment needed...it is a powerful statement of one person's grief of pain but which certainly is felt by multitudes of Palestinians and many others all over the globe.

Summary
A terribly poignant article from the New Humanitarian magazine by Rita Baroud, Journalist and correspondent from Gaza City, Palestine, relating her everyday struggle to stay alive and to stay sane. If one wants to gain a feel for the hell which Gazans are going through every day, this is MUST reading. Boggles the mind; tears one's soul apart. And, yet withal, she is perhaps in a better situation than most of the population because 1) having been displaced 14 times so far, she has found refuge in her destroyed building, living among the rubble, rather than in a flimsy tent in the cold and the mud in the midst of Winter, and 2) she still has alive some members of her family.
Key quotes
"The winter cold has arrived in Gaza, bringing with it a harsh reminder of how fragile life has become."
"The cold doesn’t knock on doors; it forces its way in uninvited, creeping through cracks in bomb-damaged walls."
"Bread has become like gold – rare and precious."
It’s heartbreaking, tragic— will remain as a stain on human conscience forever!
